"Dropped more than a grand on freeze dried berries"
I’m not kidding around. I can’t get enough of their freeze dried blackberries and have been a loyal customer since 2020. I place a large order every few weeks since they’re my go-to snack. I’ve checked out other shops, but their quality just doesn’t stack up to The Rotten Fruit Box. I’ve sampled their other freeze dried fruits as well, and they were tasty too!

"Beware of the Rotten Fruit Box Scam on Facebook - Many Have Been Duped, Including Me 😒"
Steer clear of this company! My order showed up incomplete, and the seller is ghosting me. The reviews here seem fake. I’ve reached out to the seller about 20 times, but no luck getting a response to fix the problem. Their customer service is super unhelpful, and I just can’t believe they’re still in business.

"Incredible items and a great idea!"
The Rotten Fruit Box offers a ton of fantastic freeze-dried goodies! Their fruit pouches are definitely my top picks. There’s a wide range of delicious, unique, and pretty fruits that work well in salads, cereals, desserts, or just as snacks. Quick shipping, high-quality items, and overall a brilliant concept. I just got another box today and I’m really pleased with all of it.

"The Bad Fruit Package"
I can’t say enough good things about this business. I’ve bought their freeze-dried fruit, and it’s super tasty for munching and cooking. Their soups are decent for a quick bite, but they’re a bit plain for my liking. The delivery was fast, and everything was packed nicely. I definitely suggest checking out this company.

"Simple and Nutritious"
My little one really enjoys the freeze-dried fruits, which make for convenient and wholesome snacks. I’ve also sampled the soups and thought they were quite tasty.

"Fantastic product with awesome customer support!"
I ordered 4 'bits' pouches from The Rotten Fruit Box: 2 strawberries and 2 assorted flavors. I noted in the comments that I preferred berries, and they delivered just that: raspberries and blueberries. These treats are super tasty and totally addictive! I'm really pleased with my buy, even though it’s a tad pricey. I’ll surely grab more. They make a great topping for yogurt, oatmeal, and cake frosting!

"Absolutely adored my package."
I enjoyed the fruit on my yogurt or just as a snack. Way better than regular dried fruit since it has no added sugar and tastes way better. It's also drier, so you might need to adjust to that.

"Thrilled to get my package"
I was super pumped to get my package. I've tossed the fruit on yogurt, mixed it into chia pudding, and naturally, I've snacked on it straight from the bag. So tasty! 😋

"Delicious and a great bargain!"
I decided to give this a shot after seeing an ad. The idea really appealed to me. I went for the 'bits' box. It contained around 4 or 5 bags filled with different fruits, some odd bits, and a powder that I guess are leftovers from the process. I incorporated this into my smoothies and homemade granola, so I didn’t need anything too fancy. This was just right for what I was looking for, and an even sweeter deal. The shipping was fast, and the packaging was solid. I’ll definitely be placing another order! I've already told a bunch of friends about it.
"Absolutely Adore It!"
I had a blast sampling all the various fruits. The mandarins and pineapple were my favorites for sure. My grandsons jumped right in and enjoyed it too!

"Tasty, nutritious, and good for the planet!"
I picked up a bunch of different kinds of this fruit treat, and let me tell ya, they’re all super tasty! They’re an ideal munchie for hikes; lightweight, flavorful, and filling, plus you don’t have to stress about the fruit getting damaged or going bad in your pack. And hey, freeze-drying fruit that might otherwise be tossed? What a brilliant idea! :)

"Payment processed, but no order shipped or refund issued"
On January 8th, I placed an order for some freeze-dried fruit packets from The Rotten Fruit Box. The payment went through via PayPal, but the only confirmation I got said I needed to finish paying for my order—yet I had already paid, and the money was out of my account!
I sent two emails to the company that same day (January 8th) and followed up two days later (January 10th), but I heard nothing back. A day later, I commented on their Facebook page asking for a response to my email, and they replied with a generic message saying they were addressing all emails, but mine was still ignored.
On January 12th, I reached out through Facebook Messenger, sharing the details of my email to find out why my payment was accepted but no order was processed. The next day (January 13th), they told me one of my emails was found in their 'spam' folder and that they would get back to me soon with my order details and payment confirmation.
I had to follow up again on January 14th to check on the status, only to be told I hadn’t actually placed an order, just created an account. They also claimed my payment was flagged as fraudulent and should have been automatically refunded. I pointed out that it hadn’t been returned, despite my previous requests for a refund, which had been ignored three times.
Their last email on January 16th apologized for the hassle and asked if there was anything else they could do. I replied, 'Yes, please help—I still need a full refund!' But that email went unanswered, and it’s now been two days with no further communication.
On January 23rd, 15 days after my order, they finally decided to manually process it and offered me a free pouch of fruit for the trouble. However, when I clicked the link in the email to check my order and tracking, it said my order was canceled on January 22nd—the day before I got the confirmation email! I emailed them again to ask why, but, as usual, no response. Now, I can’t even comment or post on their Facebook page to warn other potential customers about this experience.
I followed up about the canceled order on January 25th, January 28th, and February 1st, but still no replies. After mentioning a negative review on Trustpilot, I finally got a response saying, 'Unfortunately, as previously stated, we never received the funds for this transaction as it was marked as fraudulent. You can confirm from the email that you tried to complete the transaction. I understand the frustration with a large company (they lost one of our withdrawals worth several thousand Euros), but we recommend you contact PayPal for your money back.'
The company has my money, not PayPal. They confirmed they received the funds since they 'supposedly' manually processed my order. Why would they do that if they didn’t have the money? Wouldn’t they have mentioned in every email that they never got the funds instead of giving different excuses each time?
They’re still refusing to refund my money or actually fulfill the order I placed. I’ve given them the chance to either refund me or process my order, and I’ll change this review to reflect their positive actions (though I’m not holding my breath). This is absolutely disgusting and unethical behavior from a company.

"Great Shopping Experience"
I'm really into the idea and the fruit. Tastes just like it’s fresh off the tree. Just a heads up, this isn’t your typical dried fruit. It’s freeze-dried, which makes it super dry and a bit tough to munch on without making me cough 😅. The apple, pineapple, and kiwi are perfect for snacking 😊, and the berries are awesome on yogurt. Delivery took about two weeks, so you gotta be patient. I’d totally order from them again 👍.

"Super satisfied"
Super satisfied, I picked up the freeze dried raspberries. Like someone mentioned before, I thought they were a little too tart for munching, but they worked great when ground up for my macarons filling :)
